Don't let this sweet big baby boy fool you! Yep this first image...cat naps I tell you. Cat naps! ;) Introducing baby newborn baby Kaden at 7 days old! He kept his parents anxiously awaiting for his arrival. A week overdue this handsome dude finally arrived weighing 9lbs 15oz. I loved all the cuddles during our session but as you see, Kaden had other plans for us. Quite possibly the most inquisitive little baby I've ever photographed. Special thanks to Amy & Ryan and Grandma too for allowing me to capture some memories of him for you.

Your little one is finally here and you can't help but feel overwhelmed with a flood of emotions. A light bulb goes off and you realize that you are responsible for this new life. Yes, you! And now what? Holding them in the palm of your hands is scary enough, your newborn photography session shouldn't be! As a Professional Photographer newborn safety is without a doubt our 1st priority! New to the industry or not, it should be yours as well.
Newborn safety is all over the internet these days. I've come across more photographers than I care to count who are just starting out with some pretty nerve wracking images. Gives me chills and is so frustrating at the same time. Money should NEVER come before safety! As you can tell I am very adamant about this topic. Newborn reflexes so unpredictable and change in an instant! Split seconds leave you with no time to react.
That said, a newborn session with a Professional Photographer, one whom you have researched, are familiar with, have been referred to should be in the forefront of your mind. Go ahead and ask questions, get to know them and their style. After all this beautiful session is yours as well!

Beautiful Newborn Baby Easton
What a wonderful newborn session we had yesterday with this little babe in studio! His arrival was a quick but perfect one. First time parents are so in love with him. I was so excited to meet him. Easton settled in perfectly once he had a full belly and the magic of a little heat! Just 7 days new and already flirting with the camera! Shane, Jessica...you are both adorable and I thank you for travelling in from Port Hope for his session. It was such a pleasure to have you all here in studio, participating in his session.

Heard the saying, healthy mom, healthy baby right? It's true! Whether you are TTC or pregnant already it's so important to take care of you! It's SO easy too! You don't have to do this alone either. It's fun to get your family and friends involved too. Not only for health reasons but for a better living for your future. However if you DO need guidance check out this cool website to get your started. Baby Bump Meals is an online tool and tips to help with meal plans and your daily nutritional needs.
There is also a ton of information out there. Our family recently purchased a Breville Juicer this past year and I am totally in love with all the combinations we have come up with so far. We have always been a smoothie family and I am lucky that the kids are not picky eaters. It sure helps that my husband is a Chef, but I'm proud that the kids paletes are so diverse.
Smoothies are an awesome quick way to get lots of vitamins and antioxidents in. Healthy benefits 100% not to mention fills you up!
