Oh my goodness, I just adore newborns. Every baby I am honored to grace my studio is so unique and precious in their own way. Squishy, cuddly, and perfect in their own way. We welcomed Sofia recently at 10 days new and she was amazing to work with! She certainly is loved and has a beautiful big sister to show her the ropes in the years to come. Thank you J & N and big sister Vanessa for joining her newborn session.

At 12 Days old this little peanut was sure curious to see what was going on this morning. Like most newborns at this age they change so fast! So to be honored to come and capture this beautiful baby girl along with mom and dad today was simply wonderful! If you have had a newborn session with me before you will remember me saying, "your baby will be my boss today" It's true! Being a newborn photographer takes a lot of patience and understanding. They should never be rushed. I follow your baby's lead. Trusting your gut and using common sense always rewards itself in the end. Meet Jordan James (love her name). Bright eyed and an appetite for life that will take her far!

Ajax Babyrama Newborn Photography

June has been very busy in the studio lately! Babyrama here in Ajax has been a busy place too! Mom contacted me to book her session after seeing my Business card in the store. Newborns take priority with me so I was extremley happy to meet her. All these amazing little babies with personalities of their own. Meet Keira, all of 5lbs of sweetness. She slept the entire time and only woke when she was being put back in her bucket seat. LOL too cute! Thank you for choosing Petra King Photography and for bringing her in. Oshawa Babyrama Maternity Photography

I thought not only was today a great day to post a sneak peak for this wonderful amazing couple but fitting for the first Father's Day too. Our patience paid off Ashlee and Chris :) After a long week of rainy weather we met up on a gorgeous sunny evening to capture some memories for them before we meet this little arrival! She was simply glowing wasn't she? We had a lot of laughs and I loved how quick we clicked with each other. This little one is going to be so lucky to have these parents! Baby Boy :William-8 months

This session took us a while to get to. Not for scheduling reasons but for the simple fact that this sweet dude had a pretty scary entry into the world. He is a healthy, strong and super fun baby boy now and I am so happy to have finally met him. Here are a few images from our session together. Catherine, thank you. He's beautiful!
