Baby Bump: Twin Maternity Photography

You know that glow that everyone raves about when a woman is expecting? The natural radiance and excitement of having your first baby? Well this mama had double the amount. Just look at how gorgeous she is! Seriously, a beautiful mama to be both inside and out. Can you believe she is expecting twins?? Mom and Dad came in recently for their couple Maternity session. When planning your maternity session I always go over with moms how comfortable they are with showing their belly and what your needs are for the session. I never pressure mom's to do anything they are not comfortable doing. My maternity sessions are close and modestly intimate. Meaning close proximity. These sessions are delicate and evoke the intimate soft side of a maternity session.

Couple maternity celebrates your love, a new milestone in your relationship and to celebrate new life!

So when should you book your maternity session? For maternity sessions I like to photograph a nice full belly. Typically between 30-35 weeks is when the magical time is, however every pregnancy is different. You know your body best and I want you to be comfortable. We take breaks if needed, keeping hydrated and snacking and most importantly close the the washroom right? :)

The studio does have some maternity gowns to save you from trying to find something just right. My maternity photography is light, airy and heirloom keepsakes for you and the family to cherish. New addition: Growing Families

Family... We learn. We love. We journey and we grow. Time has a way of combining all these and before you know it we are caught up in the hustle and chaos of everyday moments. When a new baby is added into your family, you can be sure of a few things. The first, be blessed and thankful. The second... enjoy. Time goes by too quickly.

Adorable Toddler Style

Meet Shane! He just turned 2! Yep I know..check out all that awesome hair he has!!! Adorable huh? I have had the pleasure of photographing this little handsome dude since he was a newborn. He has his parents on the go go go as he hardly slows down. Typical two year old ;)

Shane was recently in studio for some portraits and we had so much fun! He kept his mama hoppin'. So much energy ;)

Bowmanville Fall Family Photography

I know I say it year after year but I am so honoured and lucky to have been this family`s photographer for the last 7 years. It has been an amazing journey watching these little monkey`s grow and adding 2 new siblings into their family unit. LOOK how much they have grown! I loved greeting them for our session below and getting hugs and high fives. Seriously...how cool is that? The trust you earn from children and parents is something that is beyond what you are hired to do as a photographer. The emotional connection you make and evoke within them speaks volumes. And all this done without any bribes...okay...maybe a timbit or two! Working with children is always fun, however to the new photographers in the field can be daunting. Prior to all of my sessions we have a consult of expectations, needs and any area of concerns. Being prepared ahead of time is always at the top of my list so that you make sure you meet the needs of your client. When you happen to have a keen eye and really know your cleint...you exceed their expectations.
