These lovely ladies have such an amazing connection with each other you can't help but smile and laugh in their presence.  I have watched this little ringlet beauty grow from 5 days old.  Such a sweet, funny and beautiful little lady.  Thanks J & M for coming into the studio to celebrate Mother's Day and to tell us your story. Maddie, I loved hearing your silly jokes, watching you giggle and tell me what your favourite thing is about mom. Her smile is pretty special isn't it?  And who doesn't love snacks!  LOL Enjoy!

Infant Baby Boy: Petra King Photography

Meet Vir...he was 8 weeks old when we tool these photographs.  His parents were the sweetest excited new parents.  Totally in love with this little man and hung on his every breath. Vir was awake the entire session he was here and it was amazing.  As a photographer that has worked with hundreds of babies, you get to know your field very well. So when this amazing little soul was hanging on my every word, tone and eye contact I couldn't not capture him as is.  Dad was giggling away in the seating area and I joked around and said I know where he gets his "flirting" from ;) Soooo cute!

DurhamMomApproved Lifestyle Session

Good morning and happy Thursday!  Is it just me or has another week flown by? Never enough hours in the day it seems right?  So I the pleasure of meeting two wonderful and hilarious young ladies and their beautiful children. Who make the day to day seem easy. I never did ask them what their secret was, but keeping in true Boss Babe mode we not only had fun but captured some real life moments one sunny Saturday morning.  I'd like to introduce Susie and Melinda from DurhamMomApproved.  We did a Lifestyle Business session and included their gorgeous children.  These mompreneours have BUSY schedules and both run businesses outside of DurhamMomApproved.  Susie co-runs and admins the Facebook Group Durham HomeMademaker. She also works full time.  Melinda created and runs Picks and Giggles, a local event company that caters to mom to mom sales and handmade markets.  This is her 5th year in business. DurhamMomApprovedwas created to share Durham Region's community online as a resource for local, reputable businesses.  You can find them on Facebook, Instagram and the website can be found here.  Check them out for some "mom approved" businesses.

First Birthday Milestone: Local Baby Photographer

All of my babies in studio are awesome and precious. However this little peanut I get to call my littlest niece.  Meet Isla (eye-lah) lol.  She is one sweet little toot and has a special place in my heart. My sister recently brought her in for her 1 year milestone photographs. It is hard to believe that one year has passed already.  Time flies by, so much has happened but moments like this make you pause and be thankful for family. Children, laughter, screaming and all the fun stuff that comes along with babies.

A few of her favorite things to do at one are: clap, giggle, eat, play, learning to walk unassisted, eat some more, play with her older sisters and brother and eat some more. Yep...she loves her food and isn't picky.  In fact this summer Isla and I have an ice cream date at Enniskillen General Store. Shhh...she has to keep up with her daddy and myself! :)

Enjoy her, she is truly an amazing little girl.  We love you Isla and can`t wait to watch you grow. (slowly please)

I am slowly getting caught up with all of the Simply Motherhood sessions we had for our Mother`s Day event.  They were so well received that I will be opening them up for the remainder of 2017.
