Meet Dominic! This amazing expressive little guy came in for his newborn session with his two amazing parents. It was important for his parents to find an Oshawa Newborn Baby Fine Art Photographer to help capture her son in his early days. His parents were over the moon (albeit tired) with his arrival! The giggles we shared, perfect moments to connect and to just BE! I always like to allow my parents to slow down. To take a moment and take it all in. To just breathe and adore this little miracle. Most often followed by, I can`t believe he is finally here. It`s surreal, and for a few moments you will forget the crying, the constant feeding, diaper changes and sheer exhaustion. For within these moments, I love being able to capture this magic for any new parent.

Dominic's parents loved his session so much they added a beautiful linen album. They decided on a fresh sage green to compliment Dominic`s nursery. It came out gorgeous, don`t you agree?

Newborn Photography Session
A brand new baby always leaves me awe inspired.The littlest details all in a squishy, warm, wriggly little bundle. These thoughts came to mind recently when I met sweet little Sophie when she came in for her newborn photography session. Her parents were in not too long ago for their maternity session. She was quite the little peanut but boy did she have a set of lungs! LOL! Love that...it's especially wonderful when they are awake and alert for their session. Of course new mom's want those sleepy photographs however when baby is alert, but I love interacting and talking them them whatever mood these little ones decide to arrive in studio with ;) Their personality traits are shown early on and will probably surprise most new parents with expressions they may not have seen yet. Sophie, you are adorable. I can`t wait to see you again for your next milestone session!

After your photoshoot tell your story with custom framing
Part of being a full service studio that specializes in being there every step of the way for my clients is also the continuous education that images belong on your walls and in albums. I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with an amazing family. After your photoshoot tell your story with custom framing. This was the case with Jessica. I met Jessica and her family this past fall at their home to capture some family images on a 100 year old property. Let me tell you this home was stunning... How lucky for this young family to live their days on this gorgeous property. This little guy below already has learned some life skills that most kids these days miss out on. He taught me how to husk corn in .2 milli seconds before tossing it aside for another lol! During the pre-session consultation Jessica and I planned her session and instantly just clicked. We had such a fun session together with her "boys" and couldn't have asked for a more spectacular evening. I love connecting with my clients and getting to know them. We laughed, explored and wandered around the multiple unique spots to capture her son and the three of them just being themselves. After the session was done Jessica thanked me and if I remember correctly said that was awesome and something I've never experience before. I think I replied with something like...I LOVED spending time with you and getting to know you more. I can't quite explain it but for me it's just part of who I am. I genuinely have an honest interest in you and your family. You are my extended family so to speak. I love this journey that we have together.
Jessica came into the studio for her reveal appointment and together we went through her gallery of images from our session together. She brought a smile to my face as she watched the slideshow not once but twice so she could choose the images for her collection. Oh man, she was totally smitten with her images. She choose a Collection that included 4 art prints for her home. We already knew the space we were planning to hang them however come the time to choose she realized she wanted to add on a few more. I sent Jessica home and told her that I would create a visual for her. I am a visual person so I knew for her this was the case too. This beautiful gallery was the vision for Jessica's home. Using her images I was able to create a design for her that she fell in love with.
She ran with it and choose her frames in studio along with matting. Next step was to print! I wanted you to see some of the steps behind the scenes and the final product.

Isn't this gorgeous? Snapped a little behind the scenes shot for you prior to packaging them up for her to pick up. I am SO in love with her collection and how things came together for her. She was in touch with me after she opened her order and oh my goodness the emotion and joy made my heart swell. Watching her sweet little boy rip through the packaging with such elation (she sent pictures) I couldn't help but take a moment and soak it all in. Thank you Jessica for the beautiful soul you are and for your family. I also wanted to thank you for this wonderful experience to be able to work with you and create these memories for you for years to come. More importantly thank you for sharing your moments with me. Maternity Photography
A recent maternity couple in studio for their maternity photography session. A pregnancy brings a lot changes to a couples lives. It can be both exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. Wondering how you will manage, if you are doing the right thing, taking care of yourself on a more serious note and in general waiting patiently for this little one to arrive. Sound familiar? Completely normal I promise ;) enter this sweet young nervous couple. I had the absolute pleasure of meeting them as a referral from another client. Thanks so much S! Mom to be was very timid in the beginning but we made sure she was comfortable, offered gentle guidance and she was a natural. Here are some of her gorgeous photographs we captured that day.

Hello hello! Oh my goodness it's been a while since I have blogged. I am long overdue so many apologies. It has been a very busy Fall and Winter season. Thank you! To all my amazing clients and those who have supported me throughout. You know who you are :) xo I am blogging in order and have many of amazing sessions to catch up with so bear with me as I get through them over the holidays. I wanted to share with you this STUNNING little family and some big news. This gorgeous mama asked me to capture some memories for her of her new fiance and sweet beautiful little girl back in early fall. Of course I said yes. You see...I have known this wonderful woman since high school and am thrilled to pieces for her and her new adventure. Ok, no more chatting...check them out.

Aide Bodycare Baby
So the saying goes...and baby makes 3. Right? So when you have a type of connection with your clients that is amazing,genuine, down to earth and leaves you all warm and fuzzy. It kinda almost feels like "baby" has always been here. Does that make sense? That is the case with this wonderful family. It honestly has felt like I have known them for years. When they came into the studio with their newest addition Matthias, it was such a beautiful magical experience. Introducing Matthias! His excited new parents came to the studio for some newborn photographs recently and couldn't be more in love with him. Newborn photography sessions are always an amazing experience, but this one was so unique and fun. You see Matthias comes from a very creative and artistic family. His mom, Michelle, owns Aide Bodycare Shop located right here in Oshawa. This awesome store will leave you browsing for ages at all the neat, handmade, all natural products that she has to offer. Not to mention the heavenly scents of her soaps! If you are local and in the area, dropping into her store is a MUST!
Matthias also had his wonderful grandmother in for his newborn session. Grandma is equally as talented and creates works of art for many lucky customers with her floral arrangements. Carol Anne has a gift for curating bespoke arrangements for weddings and events. Her masterpieces are a beautiful addition for any interior designers dream. Carol Anne's work can be seen over at Carol-Anne Barnes Bespoke Wedding Flowers. We used some of her work in our newborn session and mom, dad and grandma couldn't have been more in love!
