BIG NEWS!....

I have teamed up with the very talented Love Squared Kids for a rad photoshoot!  We are set to shoot on 2 dates and are looking for a few rad kids (1 year +) , teens and adults who love the camera to help us show off some hip LSK headwear!  HEAD ON OVER TO INSTAGRAM TO ENTER!

Those chosen will receive 1 professionally edited high res digital file and a free LSK hat (both items of our choosing)

Shoots will take place at an outdoor location in Whitby with ages 1y-5y sessions taking place on August 8th (rain date 9th) and 6+ on August 15th (rain date 16th)

Uniquely Modern

This bunch!  As Mother's Day Sessions go..this group of amazing people were top notch Uniquely Modern!  I have had the pleasure of knowing mom for the last decade or so online. Following along her business and family journey along the way.  When mom contacted me to capture herself and her 2 children I was so excited and honored. I knew right away that it was going to be a fun and different shoot. They didn't let me down. Her kids are hilarious and kept us entertained the whole time.   Seriously Alex...I wouldn't be surprised to see them up on the big screen one day!  You are one lucky beautiful mom. Your children adore you and the bond between you three is so amazing to watch.

Thank you so much for coming in and allowing me to capture you as you are. It was such a pleasure and joy!  Enjoy and don't stop being you!

Simply Motherhood

I just ADORE these next two who are up on the blog. I have had the utmost pleasure of working with them since this little hilarious baby girl was just an itty bitty newborn.  Lindsey came in for the Simply Motherhood shoot with her sweet baby Ella.  I knew the moment mom booked that we would have a gorgeous session together.  Aspen Florist was on set for styling and assisting where needed in the floral department. I think it's safe to say that I think she blew both Lindsey and myself away with her stunning floral decor. We had SO much fun and we ended the shoot with a Milk Bath. Ella was pretty stingy with her smiles and expressions most of the shoot but we did manage to capture some of her personality which mom loved!  Check them out below!

By the way, Lindsey wore a beautiful floral arm tattoo that Lisa created for her. First time we used a cool accessory like this and we love how they came out in our photographs!

Mom and her boys

Next up to be featured is this gorgeous mom and her boys.  Alycia and her handsome little men came in for our Motherhood Sessions and this was her first photo shoot with her little ones together.  Like most mom's of little ones...its BUSY. It's loud and it's often filled with small bribes to be good.  Yes yes...treats are a wonderful thing.  I am not sure what mom did or said prior to arriving but these little guys were so good through our session.  One busy mama to a 3 year old and a 1 year old.  But seriously though...look how gorgeous this family is!

Thank you Alycia for coming in with your handsome little men. I know they are your world!  They clearly think the same!

Styled Simply Motherhood 2018

Our Styled Simply Motherhood 2018 sessions were a HUGE success!  Thank you so much to all the beautiful mamas, babies and children who came into the studio. We had so much fun creating some stunning memories for you and your family!  Here is round one from our first date.  I will be blogging these individually since each family is unique.  I realize I could bundle together but I feel that every client deserves to have their story told. First up is the beautiful Liz and her son Dez. Talk about stealing the show!  We seriously couldn't get over how easy going, funny and happy this little guy was. Especially for him to be the first shoot of the day!  I personally have SO many favorites from this shoot.  Here are a few I just had to share with you!

All of our Simply Motherhood Sessions for 2018 included these STUNNING and unique custom floral arrangements onsite! Aspen Florist does it once again!  Lisa...thank you so very much!  On behalf of my clients and the studio, we ADORED you and your work.  Your attention to detail and help while our sessions were in progress. The outcome was simply amazing!  You helped create some of the most amazing Mother`s Day memories for these lucky mamas.

Stay tuned for more Mother`s Day Sessions and on a sweet note...you will see this little handsome face again soon.  He will be back in studio for his 1st Birthday Milestone! We can`t wait!

Adorable One Year Old Baby Girl

Hey guys! The studio has been a buzz with some beautiful little ones lately and thank you for your patience as I work through blogging them all. I am slowly getting caught up.  Meanwhile planning new events to bring you and to take advantage of this amazing warmer summer weather that we are finally having! Next up is an adorable one year old baby girl!

Not too long ago this beautiful happy and silly little girl came into the studio with her family and very talented Auntie.  Sydney's 1st Birthday was an amazing session! I was in awe as Sydney's Aunt set up things for her shoot for us. I adore all babies that grace the studio,but let's face it. Not all are happy and comfortable right out of the gate.  You can just sense and get a feeling that they need mom close by, or play strange for a bit.  Having patience and taking those few extra minutes are so important.  If you are a stickler and a planner and things MUST go your way for the shoot. I think you will find rather quickly that things don't work that way lol. So go ahead...veer off your workflow, be spontaneous. Often times you will find the outcome is so rewarding and mom and dad are so grateful for you, your patience and nailing those coveted shots they so want.  Taking those extra minutes to sit down at baby's level and play builds their trust with you.  Not only does it calm baby down and they warm up to you, mom also relaxes too.  Which results in more natural real connections and expressions.

Sydney was one of those babies who was the exact opposite of the above lol!  Seriously...I joked around and said we need to bottle this!  This gorgeous little firecracker kept us laughing, busy and our session seemed to fly!
