Christmas Santa Sessions
You guys we did it! We held our 1st Santa Session Event in the studio this past November and it was a total success! We sold out in a matter of days and the reception was so phenomenal it blew us away. To everyone who participated we Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Sharing your little ones’ first meeting with Santa here in the studio was nothing shy of magic and pure sweet emotion.
Our 1st Annual Santa Mini Session was held over 2 dates. Here is a recap of some of our most favourite moments. We hope you enjoy them as much as we had fun photographing this magical experience.

For some of these beautiful little ones it was their first right of passage meeting Santa. LOL But the mom in me knew I needed to be quick and to keep moving. Boy did I work up a sweat that day haaa. That said..every mom went home with at least one screamer. Sooo cute! Hee hee…
I wanted to take a minute and mention that this Gorgeous backdrop was all made possible by Lisa at Aspen Florist! Lisa…we had so many amazing compliments as you know on this whole event. Thank you THANK YOU…for your hard work, dedication and support for our Aspen and Petra Littles. We had a BLAST!

A Love Squared Story: Oshawa, Durham, Region, Petra King Photography
There are times in your business that you come into contact with people who not only inspire you and lift you up, but are there to support you and cheer you on when needed. This is such the case with my next posting. These beautiful girls along with their, cool and gorgeous mama are the faces behind Love Squared Kids. If you are new around here or curious to see her shop go check her out. These 2 beauties are sporting some of my favourite beanies. Seriously guys…they are so versatile and comfy!
Oh the fun we had! Sessions in studio are always unique especially when you go with the flow and just be yourself. During our shoot the littlest monkey noticed the studio had Christmas Present props. Of course, as you do as a kid you naturally want to see what’s inside. Mom naturally was like umm NO! LOL…I think I remember winking to mom and said…let’s see where this goes…haaa. OH the reactions when they realized the boxes were empty!
Don’t worry the girls left with a little treat. This was my last session before Christmas holidays and we loved every minute. Thank you so much Farah for bringing your beautiful family into the studio.
These faces, these expressions, life is made up of real moments just like this. Perfectly imperfect! Love you girl…thank you for allowing me to capture you and your tribe. Here’s to a fun, healthy and memorable year ahead!

Girls & Grandma Christmas Portraits: Oshawa, Brooklin, Whitby, Petra King Photography
These beautiful ladies came in this past December to have some portraits done with Grandma as her Christmas gift. Oh my goodness I can’t tell you how much fun we had. Meet Harlow. This little sweet cheeked girl came in for her 6 month session not too long ago with mom. She is the little sister of one of my long time clients and I was so excited to meet her. Her personality and expressions kept the whole studio giggling and on our toes.
Harlow had some gorgeous fresh flowers to adorn her photoshoot care of my wonderful girl over at Aspen Florist. Aren’t these just gorgeous? These stunning milestone floral numbers go home with my clients and smell heavenly. Here is Harlow and her umber 6!

A new life: Toronto Newborn Baby Photographer
A couple of months ago I received a call from an old client of mine announcing they were expecting the arrival of their second child. Of course I was thrilled and honoured to help them celebrate the newest bundle of the family for them.
I had photographed this little guys big sister about 4 years prior and she was super excited (for a short time) of her new baby brother lol. As with all kids ages 2-5 their attention span doesn’t last that long and we quickly got to keeping her entertained till it was her turn.
Leaving you with one of mom while she was taking the reality of her new son to heart. Big breath, eyes closed..so full of love and pride.
