Wow…who knew that 2020 was going to turn out like this right? All I can say is I hope you and your family are well and staying safe. What a state the world is in for us and such crazy times. Meanwhile, one of the things keeping me happy these days is YOU. Being able to work again and do what I love, to reconnect and celebrate your milestones is awesome.
We have been working to keep up with all our reschedules, and welcoming new clients and friends to the PKP family too. It’s been amazing. However…it’s left little time for blogging so I apologize for the gap :)
So let’s just jump right back into it shall we?

Quarentine and a sweet one year old!
Hello everyone!
First of all how are you doing? How are you coping with Quarantine and lockdown? I hope you’ve been staying healthy during these uncertain and tough times? It’s been a weird time for us hasn’t it? However, keep positive and healthy. We have so much to be thankful for.
I just sent out a newsletter yesterday and expressed how much I miss you all and working. I do hope that we will be back to a new normal fairly soon!
I decided to take some time off from blogging over the lockdown as the family took over. Like all of you we were inside staying safe. Which left little creativity and time to yourself to focus lol ;) However, it feels awesome to be back and I am optimistic we will be back fairly soon.
This next blog post is a little overdue from last year but we have been getting caught up with our sessions. So a HUGE thanks for mom and dad for their patience!
Meet Mila. This sweetpea came in with mom and dad to celebrate her 1st birthday! Her expressions and innocence melted our hearts.
In celebration of her First Birthday mom and dad went with a cake smash package that was a lot of fun. Below are some of the moments we documented and giggled about the whole time.
This beautiful shoot was made possible with our amazing local businesses that we partner with. The sweetest custom homemade cake from the amazing Danielle Petrik Sweetery. The florals in this shoot was care of the wonderful Aspen Florist.
Thank you mom and dad from bringing in Mila. We have loved watching her grow and can’t wait to see you again in the near future!
At this point we are still uncertain what date we are allowed to resume business in the studio but until then,I would like to wish you all a safe next few weeks. Stay safe, stay healthy and we look forward to the milestones we will celebrate in the near future.

Brand Ambassador Beckett- 6th Month Milestone
Beckett you are such an awesome natured little guy. You are always smiling, or inquisitive and so darn cute!
We love watching you grow and your Milestone Sessions have been so much fun! I can’t believe it has been 6 months already! Where has the time gone?
We scheduled Beckett’s 6 month session and had a lot of fun. While he’s working hard to sit up unassisted he’s still kinda wobbly. And this is pretty normal. As a matter of fact, on rare occasions so I encounter little ones who do at 6 months. Working that core is hard work ya know! LOL.
Regardless, we still had a ton of fun and boy does he ever have eyes for mama. It’s adorable! Check him out!

This next post is something a little out of the norm from my typical content here. I DO a LOT of other work apart from Maternity & Baby Portraits, and this shoot I just KNOW you are going to love and appreciate.
This past November I had the utmost privilege and honour of working with an amazingly talented and beautiful set of women who teamed up to work on a stunning model home for a Holiday House Tour.
This is an annual tradition for Station Gallery and every year local homes open their doors to the public for viewing. This year Station Gallery celebrated their 30th year of the Holiday Tour!!! Homes are decked out in gorgeous Christmas decorations as we ramp up to Christmas. This year K.MitchellDesignco, Aspen Florist, Bella Fleur Boutique, Pink Lemon Decor, Nest Specialty Desserts came together and transformed a beauty of an Estate into a dream home. Just wait till you see what they did…
I must say I was beyond THRILLED to be able to photograph this phenomenal home. So without further ado, is just a sampling of what I photographed.
The amount of hours, planning, styling, setting up and details that went into this was mind blowing. But it was the passion and dedication of some amazing women that blew this Holiday House out of the water. Should you be in need of any of these ladies and their services, I highly recommend getting in touch. I promise you will happy you did. They will take care of you as if you were one of the family! I am so proud of them all. So proud to call them friends and more importantly excited to see what they have planned for 2020. Newborn Ramona: End of an Era
It feels a little bittersweet to be writing this, but since I have already shared her sneak peak on Instagram (where I typically do all my sessions) I knew that there would come a time to do her blog post.
Ramona had her newborn session back in November and it was an extra special one. You see, Ramona was my last newborn session ever! There…I said it lol. I couldn't have asked for a smoother, sweeter and beautiful little babe to photograph for my last session. She was such a tiny baby girl!
Her session was equally stunning with the one of my favourite roses provided by Aspen Florist. The “David Austin Rose” is absolutely AMAZING and smells so heavenly!

Sweet Ramona…thank you to mom and dad and grandma for allowing you to come in and have your session held here in studio. It was truly an honour. After our session was done I let mom and dad know that she was my last newborn session not just for 2019, but for the business. I got the biggest hug and yes I got a little teary eyed. But this post isn’t about saying goodbye as much as it is to welcome and celebrate Ramona! We are so thrilled you are here sweetie and we can’t wait to watch you grow.

Evergreen Christmas Minis 2019_Oshawa_Portrait_Photographer
Guys, we had an amazing fall and Christmas season again! We couldn’t have done it without you, your support and your love! From the bottom of our hearts…THANK YOU! We rolled out our However when we Whoville sessions back in August and unfortunately, we did have a lot of you who missed out. For that we were sorry. We had such an overwhelming response that we decided to add on 2 additional dates for Christmas minis.
Our Evergreen Christmas Minis were on November 29th and 30th and our additional dates sold out! Ya’ll are amazing! Cheers guys…we are humbled.
