Maternity Goddess: Oshawa Maternity Photography
Hi friends,
Getting caught up on some major blog posts over the last couple of weeks. You know what? It’s been sooo good for the soul. I love reminiscing on all of the sessions we have had and feeling so grateful for the best clients.
This next session is near and dear to me. Meet my stunning neighbour Lorraine. Pure Goddess! I was so very honoured to document this milestone for her and her sweet family after our 2nd lockdown opened up.
We celebrated in style and had fun the entire time. Lots of laughter. Beautiful moments and daydreaming of the days ahead when her baby girl would be spoiled rotten by her two awesome big brothers. Dad knew he would have his hands full and we all knew she was going to be adored and well taken care of.
Towards the end of our session we had her 2 eldest sneak in for a few shots. The cutest…check it out.

A sweet 1st Birthday: OshawaBabyPhotographer
Meet Abbie…
This cute little munchkin was in before back in December prior to our 2nd lockdown. She seriously lit up the studio with her smiles and made them outside world and troubles fade away. Even if for just that hour.
Abbie celebrated her 1st birthday with our favourite (and most popular) floral cake smash session. Danielle Petrik Sweetery & Aspen Florist did not disappoint. Once again blowing us all away with quality, luxury and details to swoon over. Abbie was in heaven. Sharing a little more from her session below.
Sweet right? When she wasn’t thoroughly enjoying her cake she was smiling and posing for the camera.So adorable.

Couple Maternity Sessions: Oshawa Couple Maternity Photographer
Couple maternity sessions have become more and more popular over the years. It’s about time! I love when clients book and are equally as excited to welcome a new little one into their lives. It’s so much fun to capture the dynamics and emotions.

A Surprise Proposal: Whitby_OshawaEngagementPhotographer
Earlier this year I received an inquiry from an excited and very organized man who was about to propose to his sweet girlfriend. After hearing how and where I just knew this was going to be a tear jerker and beautiful session.
Enter Tony & Riley. They met at a Starbucks in town and he wanted to bring her back to the same spot that they met. To the same location that he knew she was “the one” for him. And so their story begins. I’ll let these next images tell their own story.
She said YES!
The staff inside Starbucks knew about this special curb side order and once they realized Riley said yes the shouting and clapping began. So cute….
Congratulations guys! Well done Tony you got her good lol. I absolutely loved this surprise session. You know.. the stakeout, hiding behind pillars and running through the parking lot. Worth every minute to capture these tow lovebirds. Just look at the smiles on their faces.
We took advantage of the break in the weather that day and braved the cold to capture the moment a little longer. Here is a sneak peak.

A few of my favourite things
Today’s blog post is a fun one. A little out of the norm for me but it’s overdue especially during this 3rd stay a home order for us here in Ontario.
I get so many questions about some of the things I use, what coffee I drink and or what leggings I wore in my last fitness story. So I thought to myself now is a great time to put a small post together for you mamas.
My mental & physical health are so important to me. One of the things that has kept me going, especially this year more than others is my workouts. I have always been an active person and been using Beachbody for the last 5 years. My current program is the 80 Day Obsession workout. It’s hardcore, tough and let’s me take out my frustrtions while at home. I stream online and my morning’s are my sanity savers.

Next up my most popular question is what coffee I use. Last year I splurged and got the Nespresso Vertuo. It’s honestly a game changer and if you are a coffee lover too, be sure to check it out. Keep your eye open as Best Buy offers them on sale (usually around Christmas)
You can catch me working from home or in studio with your little one’s wearing these leggings from Zyia Canada. So comfy and perfect for my outdoor runs/workouts too.
Let’s not forget the beauty fav’s of late too…my favourite go to hair mask is from Monat. The best part, is you can use it in shower too! It’s vegan, rich, hydrating and water based so there is no gunk or residue left in your hair. Win win…
And last but not least, who doesn’t love a good exfoliator? I kid you not, this one leaves my face feeling clean & renewed. It delivers the right amount of gentle exfoliation you can use daily if needed without drying your face out. I use an array of Dermatologica products as well as Bobby Brown and love them all. Sharing this one as it’s a weekly used product.
