A Fall Afternoon, just as they are:

There’s something about fall that invites families to slow down — to walk a little closer, hold on a little longer, and let moments unfold naturally.

This session was all about connection this past Fall.

The kids crashing into mom and kissing with the biggest hugs, burning off some energy just before dinner and parents walking side by side while their children run ahead, gathering leaves while screaming and laughing. Oh to be a kid again right? :)

But it also includes the quiet pauses. Big joy and realism of everyday life. It’s documented, candid and some of our favourite moments.

Here’s When to Book (and Why)

The ideal time to book your Fall Mini session is during late Spring, early Summer. That’s when most moms are feeling a little more energized, planning ahead and before the kids get out of school and take over the house. Your session is planned with intention and reflects exactly who you are. Not who you want to appear to be. Because let’s face it, when kids are asked to do something that is out of the norm…it doesn’t always fair well, parents get stressed and the outcome isn’t truly who you are as a family.

Booking early means:

• You get a guaranteed spot on my calendar (especially in busy months)

• We can walk through my client prep guide so you know exactly what to expect

• You’ll have time to figure out what to wear and to browse the client wardrobe inspo planner. Location, be it home or a favourite spot to hang as a family will be coordinated too! Do not worry at all—I’ve got you covered!

I gently guide when needed, but mostly I stepped back and allowed this family to simply be together — because these are the moments that matter most years from now. The in-between. The unscripted. The way it felt to be here, together, in this season of life.

As I look ahead to leading into 2026, I’m continuing to create space for families who value imagery that feels honest, calm, and deeply personal. Sessions are designed to be relaxed and child-led, allowing your story to unfold naturally — just as it did here.
