After his outfit change, Jhett looked dapper in a navy blue diaper cover with suspenders and a bowtie. With his long hair parted neatly to the side, he had the charm of an “old soul in a one-year-old’s body.” It was impossible not to smile watching him study his cake with such curiosity.

At first, Jhett was a little unsure about the icing on his fingers—like many babies, the texture felt new and strange. But once he had a taste of the cake itself, everything changed.
