Motherhood Portraits: Mom and girls
If you were to describe what motherhood is to you in just a few words could you? If I was to ask your children what their favourite things are about you what would they say? Your smile? The way you play with them? How they love it when you cuddle them?
When we stop and have to think of an answer, we realize just how much we love each other. They way they make you feel and vice versa. This connection and bond is what is so evident in the Simply Motherhood sessions. Everyone of them is unique and amazing as the people that grace my studio.
This stunning mama and her gorgeous little ladies did just that. Photographs that make you stop in your tracks and resonate with you. They strike a cord. Photographs that every parent should have.

This lovely mama and her children came into the studio recently for a Simply Motherhood Petite Session. Meet Francesca and her little munchkins. Fran is a local blogger and runs a The Hungry Homemaker. Her passion for a love of food and lifestyle blogging has led her to have an amazing busy business that takes her on new adventures daily! If you happen to follow her on social media you will know that these little ones keep her hopping. Like any mama she keeps it real and shares snippets into her motherhood with us that keeps you laughing and wanting to steal food off her plate. Elizabeth came into the studio recently to celebrate her pregnancy and last baby bump addition to her family. I am so happy she did, she is stunning and equally as beautiful both inside and out. This is her 3rd pregnancy and she knew she was having a baby girl, so we made sure it was soft, feminine to highlight her natural beauty. I am in love with these memories for her. Thanks for making the journey out to the studio all the way from Colourne Elizabeth. Enjoy and see you again soon.

Are you expecting soon? A HUGE congrats to you on your impending arrival! It's such a busy time for you, not to mention all the preparation that goes along with the changes that happen to your busy, your lifestyle and your emotions! You have a lot on your plate and perhaps a maternity or newborn session is one of the things you'd like to do. Whether this is your first or last pregnancy, it's like no other. Overwhelmed? It's natural, don't worry, but know that I am here to help make things as smooth and amazing as possible for you. While I can't help in the running to the bathroom department every few minutes I CAN let you know that deciding to do a custom photography session in home is one the the most unique ways you can share and document this milestone in your life. This little lady was documented recently in the comfort of her own home. She was wide awake, and going through a growth spurt. She loved being held by mom and dad and sung too. Which was amazing to watch her new parents dote over her, to see the connection and watch her curiosity in her new environment. Welcome Nellie.
