This past Christmas we hosted it's very first  2017 Evergreen Christmas Sessions and they were a HUGE success! Limited spots held over 2 dates sold out quickly.  Here is a sneak peak at the first sweet little family celebrating their 1st Christmas together with this little baby girl.

For our Evergreen Christmas sessions we had some gorgeous real wreaths and decor set up in the studio.  This was a HUGE hit and provided by the amazing Carol-Anne Barnes over at Bespoke Wedding Flowers.

Family Portrait Photography

These beautiful people I have had the pleasure of knowing for the last 5 years.  I have been honored to capture them year after year as their little family has grown.  This past Christmas we had them come in for their annual family portrait photography session and it was so much fun.  Watching the boys soak in all the studio decked out in Christmas decorations and capturing the expressions on their little faces was pretty cute. The littlest one had no idea what was going on so that alone when you interact and talk with him made you giggling away.

First up...this handsome little guy. I mean COME ON...lol check out how dapper he is. He always brings me swag and smiles.  Love this kid!

Family's First Photographer

First of all it's such an amazing feeling to have been chosen to be a family photographer. Secondly, to be a family's first photographer is so wickedly cool!  Thank you thank you thank you lol!  This next beautiful family was a referral from another long time client of mine. They are cousins...so I knew right away how much fun we would have.  I was NOT disappointed!  We greeted each other in the parking lot with open arms for hugs and lots of laughs. It felt like we had known one another for ever!  That connection and rapport you build upon trust right from the start is so important.  How else are you supposed to make your clients feel truly like themselves and be as natural as they possibly can with a "stranger and her camera in their face?" lol  Just be yourself.  Relax and get to know your clients.  Ask questions, listen and I promise your session will go smoothly.  Most importantly remember to have fun too!

Annual Fall Family

I LOVE my repeat clients. Seriously LOVE them and seeing how much kids have grown and any new additions that have joined the family as well.  Over the last 6 years you have seen me blog many a family.  So these faces are probably familiar to you :)  Well, this past fall I had the pleasure of hanging with this crazy amazing family and together we shared lots of laughs while we set out on our "annual adventure"  This mama has so much love in her heart and is so patient (at least around me) lol. Her children are so relaxed around me they know what to expect and how far to push me creatively.  Which is a good thing mind you, as it always keeps me on my toes.

LOL they remind me of the Brady Bunch here...

These sweet little faces, each with their own amazing and crazy personality. Thank you for allowing me to capture you all. How lucky are they to grow up as brothers and sisters?

Family session with The Hungry Homemaker

This past fall I met up for a family session with The Hungry Homemaker! I know you recognize this name right?  The beautiful mom behind the name The Hungry Homemaker Blog is Francesca, aka Fran!  I have had the pleasure of working with Fran and her sweet little children for the last year and a half.  Let me tell you it was SO much fun!  This bunch is so crazy and silly to work with.  Her children are SO well behaved and come out with the craziest funny jokes in their little voices. They seriously had me giggling the whole session.  Fran, Mike and I took the kids to a conservation park and although there was a bribe of a "treat" that I brought for them at the end, these two little rockstars nailed it!
