New parent love

When you become new parents there are a TON of things that are thrown at you advice wise.  There is also a ton of new parent love that you feel. These unexplained emotions you have, pridefulness and of course feeling over the moon with now being responsible for a new human being.  It is also overwhelming, exhausting, stressful and you are constantly worrying if you are doing the right thing.  But guess what?  Listen to your gut.  It's usually right :) This beautiful sweet young family came into the studio not that long ago from downtown Toronto, to capture some images of their sweet little baby boy.  Mom and Dad were naturals and so relaxed, which helps tremendously when having your photoshoot. We had so much fun and loved all the expressions baby M gave us.  Nabila, thank you so very much allowing me to photograph your little man in his first few weeks. I can't wait to see you again and wish you much luck with your move!

Wall Gallery Design Service

Well, you hear me say I love to journey with my clients.  One thing that I have always wanted to offer is a full service studio for my clients. This includes and not limited to, walking you through the process of planning your session, location, what to wear, your ordering appointment and choosing the right products for you and now a wall gallery design service.  It's only fitting that this was my next step.  Wall gallery design can be very overwhelming. We are constantly bombarded with images on Pinterest, social media and frankly I get it. However I am here to help and to be honest I do my best to go above and beyond and to wow my clients each and every time.

I wanted to share a little BTS so you have an idea of what it's all about as well as the final products from my amazing client in her home.  She was so excited to document this process for others to see, but super excited to see her vision come to fruition in her gorgeous 100 year old farmhouse. We had the most beautiful late fall session on her property and so much fun!  More from her session can be seen HERE.

Once her session was done, we set up her ordering appointment in the studio where together we went through what images she choose for her collection.  I am smiling when I blog about this I remember her being so thrilled and in love with all of her images that she wanted to have them displayed in her home.  Together we went through her favorites. I am a visual person and having had the opportunity to get to know her I knew she was too. Knowing this, I was able to create a mach-up wall gallery display for her (using her own walls) so she could envision what it would look like.  Next step was frames...I had samples for her to decide from and then brought them in to be professionally framed and assembled.

Baby Girl is 6 months old!

Baby sessions, milestone sessions...celebrating the next stage of your little one and all that he or she has learned.  Newborn, 6 months and one year. I love each of these stages, however by far the 6 month sessions are always my favorite.  It's amazing to see how much babies learn and how their personalities have changed ( or not lol) Baby girl is 6 months old...check out how much she has grown from her newborn session. This adorable little peanut came in with her sweet family for her 6 month session.  Simplistic, sweet and full of chub and rolls!  Just how I like lol!  Meet Isla in all her wispy rooster, fly away hair, thighs and adorable cheeks.  The most sweetest personality and surely a mama's girl.  Thanks to mom and dad and her grandmother for bringing her in.

Another one from our Evergreen Christmas Sessions and this time it was all for mom. This hardworking buys mama runs her own business and can be found over at FireartbyKatrin. She brought her handsome crew in for some Christmas portraits.  We wrangled these boys up and had a lot of laughs on the way.

Adorable Christmas Evergreen Family

Another Christmas session is finally being blogged.  It has been a busy start to the year followed by some behind the scenes technical issues (since been ironed out) so I apologize for the delay in getting these sessions out. This next adorable Christmas Evergreen Family family I have known for the last 5 years and it's always full of laughs and sweet tender moments.  It's an honor to not only work with but to have business relationships that blossom into friendships over the years and you can just be yourself.  Upon arriving at the studio this brother and sister were so well mannered and chatty. Family Evergreen Christmas Session

Our next sweet family I have had the pleasure of knowing since before these little ones were even born. A Family Evergreen Christmas Session was something they wanted to do since this was their first official family session together. Thank you so much for allowing me to do this for you!   Mama and I met way back when she was still expecting her first.  Arriving bright and early for their session, these two little ones were full of wide eyes and excitement.  Oh to be a kid again ;)  Face paced, lots of giggles and tickles, hugs and kisses we captured some amazing and sweet moments for mom and dad.
